This Department deals with the following health conditions:
A definite unit of the Rheumatology department, Testing includes: DEXA Scan using "Lunar Prodigy Advance" to detect Osteoporosis, as well evaluating the fat and lean tissues content for an approach to maintain a balance between bone, muscles and fat.
- mechanical pain: Neck, Dorsal spine and Lumbar spine
- inflammatory back pain (with sacro-iliac joint disorders) and enthesitis pain (affecting the tendon insertions) related to Ankylosing spondylitis and psoriasis arthritis, a common rheumatism affecting the spine and joints
Tendon, tenosynovitis and bursitis disorders: Shoulder tendinitis, heels fasciitis, Tennis elbow, Trigger fingers and other sites of the wrists, hips, knees, ankles and front feet.
Arthritis, inflammatory rheumatism and connective tissue disorders
