Appointed as a consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes in north London on April 2008, and was appointed as Head of Diabetes and Endocrinology Department in November 2011 until April the 1st 2014. His research was at Sheffield University Hospitals in UK, in about the use of metformin in the management of infertility in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. He was principle investigators for few diabetes studies. Recently he is appointed as International Examiner for the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Mohamed has very good experience in all aspects of Endocrinology and Diabetes Care, with special emphasis on Diabetes in pregnancy, and Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome, in addition to Intensive insulin management through structured education and insulin pump. Thyroid disease, Adrenal disease, pituitary and wide experience in this field.
